Generative AI stands for generative artificial intelligence and refers to the concept of AI automatically creating new things based on prompts. These could new images, sounds, texts and much more. IDP stands for intelligent document processing, and is the concept of AI models such as deep learning, automatically understanding documents in a similar way humans would and then propose actions on the conclusions. Generative AI for IDP then is the idea that many of these actions could include the generation of new documents. Examples are the automatic creation of a policy document after having analysed submitted insurance documents.
